Watch Dogs has officially wrapped production and added a new star to its cast. The Watch Dogs movie is an adaptation of the video game series of the same name, which follows hackers on various adventures in different cities. Principal photography on the movie kicked off on July 3 with the lead roles being filled by Sophie Wilde, who had recently made a splash as the lead in the A24 horror movie Talk to Me, and Tom Blyth, who played young Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Per Deadline, it has been officially announced that Markella Kavenagh has been added to the cast of Watch Dogs. She is best known for playing the harfoot Nori Brandyfoot in the Prime Video fantasy series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The character who the actor will be playing is unknown at the time of writing, as are the characters played by Wilde and Blyth.
Director Mathieu Turi has also announced on Instagram that the movie has officially wrapped production as of September 13 with a behind-the-scenes photo of the crew on set and a caption reading “That’s a wrap!” See the post below:
