Two cast members from The Dark Knight Rises enjoyed a reunion at the panel for Venom: The Last Dance at this year’s New York Comic-Con. The Dark Knight Rises was the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, released in 2012. It featured Tom Hardy’s Bane as the arch-villain, vastly improving on the last live-action adaptation of the character in Batman & Robin, while Anne Hathaway gave a standard-setting performance as Selina Kyle. Juno Temple, meanwhile, played a minor role as Kyle’s friend and roommate, Jen.
Tom Hardy and Juno Temple are also starring in Venom: The Last Dance, and when host Josh Horowitz brought up the fact that the panel was a reunion for the two Batman franchise actors, Temple said to Hardy “You wouldn’t remember because we didn’t work together.“
