Spinning out of the events of Star Trek: Discovery and helmed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, Star Trek: Section 31 sees the former Emperor of the Mirror Universe’s Terran Empire joining the clandestine arm of Starfleet after her season 3 appearance, ready to make amends for past deeds. The movie is expected to release on Paramount+.
As Star Trek has warped to New York Comic-Con, the release date for Star Trek: Section 31 has finally been unveiled during the event alongside a new poster. Paramount+ confirmed that the movie will be released on the streaming service on January 24, 2025, globally. The teaser poster is simple, but striking, as Georgiou is seen against a simple lime-green background, with a purple hue helping her stand out even more. Georgiou is seemingly dressed in primarily dark clothes perfect for covert operations, including a large duster coat.
