Liam Neeson is being eyed to join the cast of the heist movie 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank. The movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss, which follows a young woman named Paige whose grandfather Danny’s former gang is attempting to force him to rob a bank, so she decides to enlist some friends to help her do it in his place. The movie will be directed by SMILF creator and star Frankie Shaw from a screenplay by Matt Robinson featuring some revisions by Shaw.
Per Deadline, Liam Neeson is in talks to play Danny in 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank. Talia Ryder is being eyed to star opposite Neeson as Paige in the movie, which is being sold at the Toronto International Film Festival market by FilmNation. Also in talks to join the young ensemble cast of the movie are Noah Jupe, Whitney Peak, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Deacon Phillippe.

Neeson is the star in talks for 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank who is the best known, having been a major star for more than 30 years since his Oscar-nominated turn in 1993’s Schindler’s List. Liam Neeson movies have run the gamut of genres since then, including sci-fi (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace), horror (The Haunting), and superhero (Batman Begins) in addition to drama. After starring in Taken, which was a smash hit that spawned two sequels, he found new success as an action star as well, leading movies including Non-Stop, The Commuter, and Cold Pursuit.

The majority of his young co-stars also have multiple well-known titles under his belts, including Talia Ryder (Never Rarely Sometimes Always, Do Revenge), Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place, Ford v Ferrari), and Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).
The adult version of Jack Dylan Grazer’s character was portrayed by Sinister star James Ransone in 2019’s It: Chapter Two.
The only young star who is more of an unknown quantity is Deacon Phillippe, whose prior acting experience is limited to two episodes of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever. However, the performer, who is the son of movie stars Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, has also appeared onscreen in multiple music videos performed mononymously as Deacon. While the cast of 4 Kids Walk Into a Bar is not finalized, it is shaping up to be an intriguing ensemble as it comes together.
