J.J. Abrams is reportedly in talks with Jenna Ortega and Glen Powell for his next film. While Ortega and Powell are among Hollywood’s fastest rising stars in recent years, with projects including Netflix’s Wednesday and the box office juggernaut Top Gun: Maverick, this would be Abrams’ first film since the 2019 release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
