While multiple DC Universe projects have been announced, James Gunn addresses whether or not the release schedule will be packed for the new franchise every year.
As Gunn is getting ready to present Creature Commandos at this year’s New York Comic Con event, the filmmaker was asked by a fan on Threads, “Are we getting 3 dcu films every year in Chapter 1 or not?” It didn’t take long for Gunn to shut down any speculation on multiple DC Universe film releases on a yearly basis for Chapter 1: “Gods and Monsters,” as he stated the following:
No way. That was never even a consideration.
