A new Heretic trailer has debuted. The A24 horror movie sees two young Mormon women, Sister Barnes (Sophie Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (Chloe East), paying a visit to Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), but their attempt to convert him quickly takes a dark and twisted turn when they find themselves trapped inside his home. Heretic‘s positive reviews and 92% Rotten Tomatoes critical score have generated considerable anticipation following the movie’s debut at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
A24 has released the newest trailer that offers a closer and more chilling look at how Mr. Reed terrorizes the young women as he tests their faith. The trailer sees Sister Paxton happily talking with Mr. Reed before she and Sister Barnes are forced to choose between two doors, one of which is titled “Belief” while the other one is titled “Disbelief” to exit the house.
