The rumored feud between Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni during the making of It Ends With Us is the subject of a new report revealing new details about the pair’s dynamic. Serving as an adaptation of the novel by Colleen Hoover, It Ends With Us follows Lively’s Lily as she begins a tumultuous relationship with a neurosurgeon after overcoming trauma from her childhood. While the It Ends With Us reviews have been somewhat mixed, the film has become a major object of cultural fascination due to a rumored feud between Lively and Baldoni.
A new report from THR suggests that a creative rift formed between Lively and Baldoni during the It Ends With Us post-production process. According to the report, Lively exerted her power as a producer on the project to oversee her own cut of the film, for which she enlisted the help of Deadpool & Wolverine editor Shane Reid. It’s not known, however, if any of this cut made it into the final movie. The report also notes that other sources close to the production have downplayed the feud rumors, stating that all parties were in agreement on the final cut.
More to come…
