As it stands, the majority of films that are currently among 2024’s highest financial performers are part of major existing IPs. This includes, for example, Deadpool & Wolverine, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Kung Fu Panda 4.
