Netflix is trying to buy Saltburn director Emerald Fennell’s next movie, an adaptation of Wuthering Heights, but she and Margot Robbie reportedly might pass on a $150+ million deal.
According to Puck‘s “What I’m Hearing” newsletter, Netflix film head Dan Lin has offered more than $150 million for Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi set to star. However, Fennell and Robbie, who are also producing, want a theatrical release and could turn down the deal if one isn’t offered.
