Deadpool & Wolverine‘s digital release date has been announced. The Marvel Cinematic Universe changed forever with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, which was the first MCU movie to star characters that came from Disney’s acquisition of Fox, and also the first R-rated film in the long-running franchise. Marvel should already be looking at Deadpool 4, as Deadpool & Wolverine broke several box office records, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time. While the film will continue playing in theaters for some time, after two months, Deadpool & Wolverine will soon arrive on digital.
Entertainment Weekly has revealed that Deadpool & Wolverine is coming to digital retailers on October 1. That includes Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango. The MCU movie will then be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 22. Bonus features include deleted scenes, audio commentary by director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, a gag reel, and many more. EW also shared a featurette of the movie’s Wolverine variants (via @cosmic_marvel/Twitter).
The first look at two limited edition SteelBooks, one with artwork of the film’s Deadpool variants and the other of the Wolverine variants, and a Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray with a pop-up of the Deadpool Corps inside are all shown below:
